Quan Yin is the Chinese Goddess of mercy. She is the embodiment of compassionate loving kindness. She is said to have taken a vow that she will enter heaven last of all, denying herself full enlightenment until after all others have completed their cycles of lives. Her name means the one who hears the cries of the world. Her invocation (mantra) is Namah Quan Shah Yin Push.
