The bull played a particularly prominent role in the Minoan culture of ancient Crete, where it was associated with Poseidon, the elemental god of the sea. The original of this bronze bull's head was a carved stone rhyton with inlaid shell, jasper and crystal and was found in Knossos in Crete, dating to 1550-1500 BC. This figure, as with all our other bronze items, are cast in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method, therefore each piece is unique. It was made in Greece, stands 35 centimeters high, 20 centimeters width, and weighs approximately 4.3 kg.
